What will you be doing
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Product Manager with a strong background in retail banking, specifically focused on our insurance business. In this role, you will work on the development, enhancement, and management of our insurance products, including credit card insurances and loan payment protection for unforeseen events (PPI).
You contribute to the design and management of our product portfolio, focusing on PPI and credit card insurance
You ensure these products meet customer needs, align with regulatory requirements, and support the overall retail banking strategy
You work on the entire product lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring product performance aligns with business objectives
You conduct market screenings and competitor analysis to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities in the retail banking and insurance sectors
You collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including sales, marketing, compliance, operations teams, and suppliers to ensure the successful delivery and promotion of products
You understand customer needs and behaviors to create products that provide tangible value and enhance the customer experience
You continuously seek opportunities to improve existing products and suggest new ideas to keep the product portfolio competitive and aligned with market trends
You ensure all products comply with regulatory standards and address potential risks, especially in relation to credit protection and insurance
You regularly analyse product performance, customer feedback, and sales data to refine strategies and enhance product offerings
What we're looking for
You have a minimum of 2 years of experience in product management within retail banking, insurance, or a related field
You have a strong understanding of retail banking products, credit protection insurance, and regulatory requirements within the financial services industry
You hold a Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field; a master’s degree or relevant certifications are a plus
You possess excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for product innovation and improvement
You have strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely
You have a proven ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
