What will you be doing
You are responsible for the development of innovative and profitable payment or financing solutions for our private customers in line with our “Buy Now Pay Later” strategy
You analyse customer, market, and competition data to identify optimization potentials and solve customer problems. You prioritise initiatives in line with our corporate goals
You work in collaboration with various departments within the company (e.g., Marketing, IT, Legal) and lead strategic initiatives from concept development to management decision and execution
You excel with a structured approach, clear communication, and bring together the expertise of all areas to develop the best possible solutions for our private customers
In everything you do, you always keep customer needs in mind and, of course, have the right mindset to drive projects forward, motivate your project team, and question things openly
You have a convincing and clear presence, and storytelling is second nature to you
What we're looking for
At least 3 years of experience in product management in banking, fintech, or management consulting with projects in the payment or financing field.
Bachelor's or master's degree in economics or business informatics or comparable
A good understanding of the credit card business and/or card-based financing solutions; alternatively, digital installment loans or financing solutions in e-commerce
You possess strong analytical skills and enjoy using them.
You have excellent communication skills and persuasiveness when dealing with interdisciplinary and international stakeholders, as well as C-level management
You independently evaluate market and technology trends and adapt them for Barclays
Fluent English skills complete your profile
