What will you be doing

• You are responsible for the development of innovative and profitable payment or financing solutions for our private customers in line with our “Buy Now Pay Later” strategy

• You analyse customer, market, and competition data to identify optimization potentials and solve customer problems. You prioritise initiatives in line with our corporate goals

• You work in collaboration with various departments within the company (e.g., Marketing, IT, Legal) and lead strategic initiatives from concept development to management decision and execution

• You excel with a structured approach, clear communication, and bring together the expertise of all areas to develop the best possible solutions for our private customers

• In everything you do, you always keep customer needs in mind and, of course, have the right mindset to drive projects forward, motivate your project team, and question things openly

• You have a convincing and clear presence, and storytelling is second nature to you

What we're looking for

• At least 3 years of experience in product management in banking, fintech, or management consulting with projects in the payment or financing field.

• Bachelor's or master's degree in economics or business informatics or comparable

• A good understanding of the credit card business and/or card-based financing solutions; alternatively, digital installment loans or financing solutions in e-commerce

• You possess strong analytical skills and enjoy using them.

• You have excellent communication skills and persuasiveness when dealing with interdisciplinary and international stakeholders, as well as C-level management

• You independently evaluate market and technology trends and adapt them for Barclays

• Fluent English skills complete your profile
