What will you be doing
- Act as the key interface between the business and IT component teams
- Identify risks and problems in the technical landscape and ensure the resolution process is initiated following ITIL principles as per the IT Management framework implemented by the Barclays (group)
- Accountable for the risk profile associated with changes to application services, Align the priorities of the application support team with the strategic investment agenda of Barclays Consumer Bank Europe, ensuring end to end knowledge of the team Support strategic plans for improving the efficiency and quality of the overall application service
- Manage congruent customer relationships
- Ability to define IT processes to manage complex IT applications on a day-to-day basis
- Manage 3rd party relationships with managed services and consultancy suppliers
What we're looking for
- A degree/diploma or equivalent in an analytical/quantitative/business related discipline
- A self-driven personality
- Team working – commitment and ability to work with cross-functional teams
- SRE / CRE mind-set
- Knowledge of administration of multi-cloud environments (AZURE, AWS, aPaaS)
- Experience in monitoring and analyzing SOA systems using APPD and ELK using enhanced log analysis skills
- Experience in Incident and Problem Management, both hands on as well as ITIL process minded
- Desirable: experience in SFMC, MS CRM
- Working part-time is possible
- Hybrid working environment
- Sound Communication skills (focus on interfacing across different tech levels and technology teams)
- German is desired but not mandatory
