What will you be doing

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Manager for Payments with a specialized focus on Regulation and Scheme Management. The successful candidate will ensure our card products fully comply with all relevant regulations while driving the product strategy to meet business goals and customer needs. 

• You are the driving force to ensure all card products comply with relevant regulatory requirements and standards (i.e. PSD2 & PSD3)

• You stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure timely implementation of necessary changes

• You identify and mitigate risks related to regulatory compliance, conduct regular risk assessments and develop action plans to address any compliance issues

• You work in close collaboration with various departments within the company (e.g. Legal, Risk & Control, IT) to implement regulatory or scheme requirements 

• You excel with a structured approach, clear communication, and bring together the expertise of all areas to develop the best possible solutions for our private customers

• In everything you do, you always keep customer needs in mind and, of course, have the right mindset to drive projects forward, motivate your project team, and question things openly

• You have a convincing and clear presence, and storytelling is second nature to you

What we're looking for

• At least 3 years of experience in product management in banking, fintech, or management consulting with projects in the payment or financing field.

• Bachelor's or master's degree in economics or business informatics or comparable

• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements in the area of credit cards and payments, along with a solid grasp of card-based financing solutions

• Proven experience in the execution of regulatory projects, combined with initial exposure to audits and governance practices.

• Strong analytical and excellent communication skills, teamwork, and persuasive abilities, especially when engaging with interdisciplinary and international stakeholders, including C-level management.

• Fluent English skills complete your profile
