Your part

  • Excellent internal as well as external stakeholder management within related to external audits and reviews: You are responsible for coordinating and timely procuring and distributing information

  • It is also your responsibility to connect the right colleagues with the auditors

  • You support process owners, department heads of operational areas, and other stakeholders with solid risk and control expertise

  • You are responsible for defining controls within the robust control environment for all processes to minimise the risk to our customers and ourselves as a bank

  • You optimise our control landscape in terms of efficiency and effectiveness through regular reviews, focusing on a higher degree of automation

  • As part of control testing it is your task to assess existing controls for effectiveness and proper implementation and uncover automation opportunities, as well as identifying gaps in the control landscape

  • You are responsible for the proper assessment of risk incidents and the resulting issue and action management in accordance with our policies and standards. You also take on administrative tasks in our central tool for all risk and control topics

  • You conduct analyses of potential and already occurred risk incidents

  • As a Subject Matter Expert in change programs and projects, you ensure that risks are identified and addressed early, and resulting controls are considered and implemented/revised as a regular part of any change

  • You are responsible for continuous reporting of control and quality results to internal and external stakeholders

What we're looking for 

  • You already have a basic understanding and knowledge of control and risk topics such as the Three Lines of Defense

  • You have excellent self-organisation skills and can articulate clear priorities

  • You have high quality standards for your independent and structured way of working

  • You have a strong commitment to quality and service orientation and the motivation to independently acquire new knowledge

  • You have a strong ability to analyse results and develop action plans

  • You have competencies in quality and project management (e.g. problem solving, process- and stakeholder management)

  • You are a strong team player and bring a high level of responsibility and assertiveness

  • You have excellent communication and presentation skills and are confident in dealing with various internal stakeholder groups

  • You are proficient in MS Office

  • You have good German (B1) and fluent English skills (B2-C1)
